We get calls everyday from our customers saying they made this or that from our pattern line. Well, we would love to see your wool creations and post them on our web site! We want you to share photos of your projects with us and other wool lovers.

Please send us your photo in an attachment to barb@wildthymespatternco.com.  Be sure to send a little info about yourself and why you chose to make your particular wool project.  As with any web page, we can't guarantee your project will be "posted", but we will try to give all of the pictures a rotation. Keep checking back.  We will change the pictures periodically and will try to keep a fun variety for you to view.

"I changed a few of the blocks a little bit and completely re-designed the trumpet flower block with a new arrangement and a hummingbird. The setting and the border are my own design but the flowers are based on elements from your blocks. I love the quilt and get many compliments on it. Thank you so much for the beautiful designs. Cheers! Miriam"

Melisa was one of the original wool group ladies in Bozeman, Montana that started with Barb Cribb in 1999. She is responsible for the #012, "Night Moves" block in our Original Block-of-the-Month Quilt. She has some wonderful original features that were added to her quilt like the fabulous borders and the color changes on the flowers. Melisa now lives in Arizona with her family.

Customer shoulder bag photo

"Hi, my name is Tese and I am delighted to share with you a photo of my 7th shoulder bag. I fell in love with using felted wool as a fabric medium 3 years ago when I made the Wild Thymes "Pinchusion"! Since that time, I have made a number of their great designs adding my own embellishments and personal touches as well as improving my stitching abilities and expanding my creative talents."

Irish Rose from Korea “The Quilt House Co. LTD” in Seoul, Korea stitched our "Irish Rose". Please note the different application of making a pillow instead of framing the design. We LOVE to see our customer’s personal inspiration and like to encourage everyone to adapt our designs for themselves.
lizjoe

Liz finished her BOM quilt and is entering it in the Dallas Quilt Show. She said, "I added a couple of bluebirds to get more color as I erred early on by not using the bright greens provided in the kits. Thanks for your encouragement through the years, it was a fun project." I remember Liz coming into our booth in Houston and literally vibrating when she saw the quilt. I will never forget her response and delight in purchasing the kits for herself. I don't think she realized the pleasure she gave me, it was like a gift and I thank her for that.

Rita

Our friend Rita, from Australia, is making this quilt for her granddaughter, She says that her granddaughter likes all colors as long as they are pink! Rita will use a hand-dyed pink sashing to put her blocks together and we hope she will continue sending progress pictures and one of the finished quilt. Thanks for sharing Rita!

Glenda and Sharon are two of my original (1999) “Wool Group” members. They have been with me from the VERY beginning of Wild Thymes. I have chosen several of their BOM blocks to share with you so you can see the beautiful choice of colors and embroidery stitches these two women have stitched.

Sharon was a complete (embroidery) beginner when we started this project (that is another story) and Glenda is an accomplished needle artist with several awards to her name. I consider both of these women sisters of my heart.
